Pedreguer
Pedreguer is a typical Spanish inland market town of the Costa Blanca north, an area also known as the Marina Alta. The town has a small historic centre with an interesting town hall, church and a very impressive looking Policia Municipal building. Many of the façades of the houses are painted in vivid colours, which gives Pedreguer a lively appearance.
The Saturday morning market is held right in front of the town hall and the Ermita de Sant Blai is worth the short uphill walk. Just outside the town, in a residential area called Montepedreguer, is a viewpoint which is known in Spanish as a 'Mirador'. On a clear day the vistas are excellent out over the towns of the Marina Alta and the Mediterranean Sea.
