Los Alcazares

Los Alcazares is situated right on the shores of the Mar Menor. It is very seasonal as it has a resident population of about 12,000 which increases to about 100,000 during the summer!!
It has over 7 kilometres which is divided into 7 beaches! The extremely long promenade runs parallel to all of these beaches and makes for a great walk. Lots of watersport opportunities exist and there is even a boat trip that takes in the Islands of the Mar Menor during the summer months. The compact town centre is situated around the church and there is the Bahia Centre in the Los Narejos area of the town. The street market is held every Tuesday morning in Los Alcazares and if you miss that one there is also a smaller market in Los Narejos on a Saturday morning. If that isn't enough there is alway the Golf Delux miniature golf course to try!
