La Serena Golf Course

La Serena Golf Course

La Serena is an 18 hole course set in beautiful surroundings on the shores of the Mar Menor in Los Alcazares. The course was built around the 500year old Tower, locally know as the Torre de Rame which used to keep watch for invading pirates. The course is very challenging with many water hazards and large sand bunkers for you to navigate around. The wind off the Mar Menor can also come into play, the views are great and the fresh air will leave you tired as you enjoy a well-deserved drink in the superb clubhouse overlooking the course and Mar Menor.

Ideas for the Non Golfer

  • Enjoy a long stroll along the promenade in the beautiful town of Los Alcazares, it goes for many kilometres.

  • Take a visit to the Dos Mares Shopping Mall in Lo Pagan for a spot of shopping, a go at bowling or just for lunch.

  •  Have a short drive to Santiago de la Ribera and take the B and F Ferry across to the other side of the Mar Menor. The boat journey takes about 40 minutes in each direction; you can either stay on the boat or enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants at the marina before heading back.
