La Sella Golf Resort Costa Blanca North Spain

La Sella Golf Resort is situated in the small hamlet of Jesus Pobre on the outskirts of Denia and is a challenge for any player. The 27 hole golf course was designed by José María Olazábal, double champion of the Masters. La Sella Golf has hosted many national team events, including the Peugeot Circuit. Its location right beside the Montgo Natural Park means that golfers enjoy not only stunning golf but also stunning views from every fairway.

Ideas for the Non Golfer

  • The marina in Denia makes for an ideal stop for a wander along the elevated promenade or amongst the boats, then enjoy a lazy lunch at any of the stylish restaurants. 
  • For the shoppers amongst you try the massive La Marina mall at nearby Ordara for a great selection of shops and eateries.
  • Visit the magnificent natural Caves of Calaveras with their 370 meter long stalagmites and stalactites! Top the day off with a relaxing drink at the club house watching the golfers.

    From here: buy your ticket and enter the caves.

    Top tip: the caves are open 09.00-18.00 during the winter and 09.00-20.00 during the summer, tickets cost 3.50€ per adult and 2€ per child. It can be cold inside the caves, so make sure you bring some warm clothes. There is also a restaurant and children’s play area, for more information take a look at the official website.

    Parking: is either in the car park at the start of the marina, or if there are spaces beside the bars and restaurants in the marina.

    From here: walk to the marina along the road or along the elevated marina wall.
