La Marquesa Golf Course
La Marquesa is situated in Rojales in the South Costa Blanca. It is a good course for players who are developing their experience as it is not too difficult but very enjoyable. The 18 holes are designed around the commercial centre and club house
Ideas for the Non Golfer
- Book the golf for Thursday morning as it is market morning in Rojales. Spend a leisurely morning browsing the stalls, before heading into the village to explore and enjoy tapas in any one of its many bars and cafes.
- Walk along the Rio Segura from Rojales to the neighbouring village of Formentera, cross to the other side to walk back.
- Head towards Torrevieja and stop off at the 3 story Habaneras shopping complex where there are plenty of shops and eateries as well as the Ozone bowling alley.

Rojales Market
N38°05.289 W0°43.061Parking: is on the street and is free, it gets very busy when the market is on, so you might have to park further away and walk or get here early in the morning.
From here: follow the shopping trolleys to discover the medium sized market every Thursday morning.
Rojales Rio Segura Cycling Walking Route

From here: facing the river turn left and walk along the path to Formentera, after enjoying a drink or a meal at any of the cafes near the church, walk back on the other side!
Torrevieja Habaneras Shopping Mall
N37°59.373 W0°41.170Parking: is in the underground pay car park and is charged by the length of stay, keep your ticket and pay when you are ready to leave.
From here: exit the car park using the escalators, you have now arrived in the three story shopping mall! The shops are normally open Monday to Saturday from 10.00 to 22.00 and on a Sunday during the summer months
