The world famous La Manga Club lives up to its name as one of Europe’s finest golf destinations. Situated in the Costa Calida its 3 championship 18 hole courses offer some of the finest golf in the area. Well matured over its 30 year history the complex is surrounded by the stunning Calblanque Regional Park. The highest green fees in the area due to its superiority but well worth the once in a lifetime round!!

Ideas for Non Golfers

  • Take a trip to nearby Cabo de Palos for a coastal walk then lunch in one of its first class fish restaurants.

  • Take a drive up the La Manga Strip, stopping wherever you want, as there are over 15 beaches, 2 marinas and plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from.

  •  Head inland to the Calblanque Regional Park and submerge yourself in its rural beauty. Spend the day relaxing on the beach or be more active and follow one of the walking trails.

  • Cabo de Palos Marina

    Parking: is on the street beside the marina, if you can’t find a space try any of the side streets.

    From here: walk around to the restaurants which are found along the seafront at the mouth of the marina. 

  • Calblanque Regional Park Playa Negrete

    Parking: is in anyone of the designated car parking areas.

    From here: walk along the wooden boards down onto the beach and enjoy! 

  • La Manga Club Golf Resort

    Parking: is in the car park and is free.

    From here: this is the entrance to the golf course resort, just follow the signs to the clubhouse.

    Top tip: book your tee time in advance by contacting the club directly. Check the clubs website for green fees that are linked in with the on-site accommodation as this often works out as great value.

  • La Manga Strip Beaches

    Parking: is on the road and is free, it gets very busy during the high season, so take any space you can find!

    From here: there are over 15 beaches along the length of the Strip, so stop anywhere you see a sign for ‘playa’.

    Top tip: the sea is a lot warmer on the Mar Menor side than the Mediterranean side of the Strip.!
