GPS Device Programming Instructions
In order to get the most out of DownloadMyTravelGuide it is important that you really get to know how to use your GPS device and follow the advice below .
Setting your GPS Device
- Make sure your GPS device is as up-to-date as possible by plugging it into your computer and downloading any updates.

Make sure your GPS device is set to receive coordinates for latitude and longitude using the MINUTES dom.m" display and not the DEGREES or SECONDS display. (consult online instruction manual if you are unsure how to change this setting on your device).
- Make sure your GPS device is set to ask you 'planning preference' every time you plan i.e. fastest route, shortest route, avoid motorways route, avoid toll route. (consult online instruction manual if you are unsure how to change this setting on your device).
Programming the coordinates into your GPS Device

We recommend saving all the coordinates that you need for your route in your 'favourites' folder, by adding them using the coordinates.
