The El Valle Golf Course Resort is set on the edge of the El Valle National Park this Polaris World Resort really does enjoy a beautiful elevated position at the top of the valley. 18 holes of challenging golf await you here. This course is part of the Nicklaus Trail and along with its neighbouring IRM (ex Polaris World) courses offers all the trimmings of a special golfing experience. You will certainly enjoy the 19th hole, positioned right in front of the 18th green, a great place to watch the players coming in!!

Ideas for the Non Golfer

  • Visit the market which is held every Saturday morning in the nearby town of Torre Pacheco. Then relax and unwind with a leisurely lunch in any of the many eateries in the town.

  • Pack a picnic and head over the mountain pass into the El Valle Regional Park. There are many places to visit within the park like the beautiful Fuensanta Sanctuary which has stunning views out over the city of Murcia. You can also visit the San Antonio de Podre Hermitage, enjoy a coffee at the Centro de Luz visitors centre, or simply take a picnic and have a leisurely lunch in the picnic area before exploring the informative Arboretum park.

  • Take a trip to the Mud Baths in Lo Pagan. Enjoy the therapeutic waters where the visitors rub the mud into them from the Mar Menor let it dry to enrich the skin before washing it all away and feeling alive again.

    Parking: is in the clubhouse and is free.

    From here: turn off the C3319 here and continue along the road until you reach the rounabout at the enterance to the golf course, then follow the signs for the clubhouse.  

    Top tip: book your tee time in advance by contacting the club directly.

  • El Valle Regional Park Fuensanta Sanctuary

    Parking: is in the car park and is free.

    From here: explore the La Fuensanta Sanctuary, there is a little souvenir shop opposite the entrance to the church, a café past the church and to the right and toilet facilities near to the exit of the car park.

    Top tip: it is free to go inside the church and it is usually open everyday from 09.00-13.00 and 16.00-19.00. In order to light up the really impressive dome you’ll need to put a 1€ coin into the slot machine to the right of the door in the church foyer - it is well worth it!!

  • Lo Pagan Mud Baths

    Parking: is in the car parking places alongside the road and is free, it gets very busy during high season, so you might have to park further away and walk or get here early in the morning.

    From here: starting from the windmill go along the elevated salinas walking and cycling route, the wooden steps into the mud baths are on the left, it is all free to use! 

  • Torre Pacheco Market

    Parking: is on the road and free.

    From here: follow the shopping trolleys to the market which is held every Saturday morning.
