Dolores
Dolores is one of the largest inland villages in this area. The large iconic church stands proudly in the large palm tree lined church square. It is slightly busier than some of its neighbouring smaller villages and so has a good selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, but means that you can explore without worrying about getting lost!

Ideas of places to twin Dolores with day or night
- Have a day exploring!! Twin Dolores with anyone of a number of surrounding places like Almoradi, Formentera or Rojales to get a true feel of what rural Spanish life is all about, why not try to take in a street market at the same time.
- Spend a Friday morning at the small street market in Dolores, then drive towards the coast to indulge in a spot of sunbathing during the summer, or a brisk walk in the winter along the beach at Santa Pola, if you arrive around 17.00 head for the fisherman’s marina and buy some fresh fish straight off the boat.
