Day Out Javea

Day Out Javea Xabia Costa Blanca North Spain

Javea, known as Xabia in Valencian, is a pretty holiday resort town which more than enough to keep everyone entertained for a great day out! It is situated in a wide bay between the rocky headlands of the capes of San Antonio and La Nao, both of which have their very own lighthouses. There are three distinct beach areas, all of which have their own characteristics and a great marina with a selection of top class fish restaurants.

The historic centre is situated a few kilometres inland as its original inhabitants feared attacks from marauding pirates. The narrow streets with their wrought iron balconies, large wooden front doors and stone porticoes make it a great place for an amble.
