- The city centre of Alicante is only 10 kilometres away, so make the short drive to the car park right beside the marina and enjoy a day discovering the delights of Alicante city.
- Explore the Santa Barbara Castle which sits high on the hill guarding the city of Alicante. It is free to visit and you can either walk up through the old town, take the lift or simply drive and park for free at the top. There is a fantastic picnic area with stunning view over the sea, marina and roof tops of the city.
- Enjoy a relaxing day on the beach. Pack you towel and swimmers and head to the long golden sands of San Juan beach which is only 800 metres away. The beach is shared by Alicante and it's neighbour El Campello, it is 8 kilometres long and has a wonderful beach front promenade with a great selection of bars, cafes and restaurants.

Alicante City Centre Car Park

From here: walk along the marina promenade towards the city centre, then follow our Alicante city walking route which incorporates a stop at the tourist office.
Alicante City Santa Barbara Castle

From here: wander around the castle at your leisure, there is a small refreshment kiosk, toilets and picnic tables with stunning views out over the sea.
Top tip: the castle is open everyday of the week from 10.00-20.00 and both entrance and parking is free. The lift from the street level costs 2.40€ return, but is free for under 5's and pensioners.
Alicante Golf Course

From here: the car park is right beside the club house, the first tee is through the tunnel underneath the main road.
Top tip: entrance to golf club is between the two commercial centres where the green nets of the tennis and paddle courts are. Book your tee time in advance by contacting the club directly.
