Alenda Golf Course

Alenda Golf Course Costa Blanca

Alenda is situated in the mountains behind the city of Elche. A great course to cater for the golfer and the non golfer. 18 holes offer the golfer a real challenge as you navigate the large bunkers and water hazards that are placed around this lovely course. The mountains add to the picturesque setting and the imposing club house is always in view as you start to think about the 19th!

Ideas for the Non Golfer

  • For the shoppers amongst you try the Mall at the L’Aljub. If that is not enough shopping, head to the or the El Corte Ingles department store or the Salvador Artesano shoe factory, which is Europe’s largest shoe shop!!.
  • Visit the city centre and explore all that Elche has to offer, like the archeological or fiesta museum or the Huerto del Cura with the famous Imperial Palm. You can even climb the bell tower of the main cathedral called the Basilica de Santa Maria.
  • Take a drive to the nearby El Hondo Nature Park, which is a protected wetland environment. There is a visitor’s centre with information about the fauna and flora of the park, picnic tables and a flat 4 kilometre walking route which is easy to follow.
