The Orihuela Costa is located south of Torrevieja and inland from the town of Orihuela. It is home to a large international community and visited by many thousands of people every year. We start our walk along its beautiful coastline at Dehesa de Campoamor and pass through Aguamarina, Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima. Join us as we walk the full length of the path and discover many wonderful beaches, quaint marinas and stunning views.

Hayes Guide to the Costa Blanca - Rio Segura Walking and Cycling Route

You know that the Costa Blanca South has great beaches, quaint villages, gorgeous natural parks, vibrant towns and popular markets. But did you know it has a 16km stretch of cycle and walking path that follows the River Segura? Starting at the historic town of Orihuela the route winds its way through the villages of Benejuzar, Algorfa, Formetera, Rojales and finally arrives at the sea in Guardamar del Segura. Join us as we cycle beside the river through all of these the places. Then you decide if you want to cycle or walk the route in one go, or split it up and use the villages as starting and stopping places.
