Elche Valentines Fair
For the first time ever Elche is holding a Love Fair to celebrate Valentines Day. The fair, which is called Elche Enamora 2012, will take place in the square between the Cathedral, Tourist Office and Municipal Palm Park from the 10th to the 12th February. Click on Read More for all the information.
It will be a thematic market with 50 stalls offering all kinds of products including artisan jewelry, textiles, hand made soaps, candles, decorations and food, as well as a tavern serving crepes, kebabs and other products. The market will be decorated with mistletoe, ivy, hearts and bows.
Cupid will be 'flying around' and couples can be photographed. Every 20 minutes actors and entertainers from Elche will be preforming. There will also be a post box where you can post your Valentine Card which will be read out during a special ceremony.
The market will be open:
