Catral Fiesta Santa Agueda
During the first weekend of February the town of Catral will celebrate the feast of Santa Agueda. The ermita or shrine of Santa Agueda is located in the Plaza del Barrio de Santa Agueda and will be open from the 1st -6th and 11th & 12th February 2012. Hundreds of people, but mostly women, throughout the province of Alicante and Murcia will visit the shirne during these days.Click on Read More for the programme.
Saturday 4th February
09:00 mass at the Ermita de Santa Agueda
20:30 procession with the image of Santa Agueda from the Ermita to the Iglesia de Catral, where she will remain over night.
Sunday 5th February
09:00 mass at the Ermita de Santa Agueda
11:30 mass at the Iglesia de Catral, followed by the procession with the image of Santa Agueda from the Igelsia de Catral to the Ermita
