Parking: is in the car park and is free, it gets very busy during high season, so you might have to park further away and walk or get here early in the morning.

From here: the beach is on the opposite side of the road.

Parking: is in the car park and is free, it gets very busy during high season, so you might have to park further away and walk or get here early in the morning.

From here: face the sea and turn left to walk north to Dehesa de Campoamor, or turn right to walk south to Torre de la Horadada, when you get to the Rio Seco either walk along the beach or head inland a few hundred meters to the bridge.
 

Mil Palmeras Village Centre

Parking: is on the side of the road wherever there is space.

From here: this is the village square, 'restaurant alley' leads off it in the direction of the beach.

Gran Alacant Beach

Parking: is on the side of the road and is free

From here: walk along the wooden walk ways over the sand dunes onto the beach.

Gran Alacant Beach Car Park

Parking: is in the car park area and is free.

From here: walk out of the car park area and turn left for the wooden walk ways that lead onto the beach.

Top tip: the car park gets very busy during high season, so come early or take the tourist train from the centro comercial. 

Gran Alacant Commercial Centre Front Entrance

• A number of large supermarkets and some service shops
• Great selection of restaurants, cafes and bars
• Some childrens fair ground rides and play area

Top tip: this is one of the stops for the tourist train, it is schedualled to leave here at 25 mins past the hour, tickets cost 2€ for one circuit .

Gran Alacant Lighthouse

  Parking: is on the side of the road and is free.

From here: walk along the road to the turning circle and then follow the path to the lighthouse.

Top tip: parking is limited here, so you can park at the Centro Comercial and take the tourist train (charges apply). To park right beside the lighthouse take the turning on the N332 between Gran Alacant and Santa Pola which is marked with the sign post that says El Faro Santa Pola . 

Gran Alacant Market Small Thursday Morning

Parking: is on the side of the road and is free, it get busy here on market days so you might have to park further away and walk.

From here: the market is on the opposite side of the road.

Gran Alacant Parque Sierra Santa Pola

Parking: is on the side of the road and is free.

From here: the park which contains a childrens playground, adult fitness equimpment and a kiosk, is opposite here. 

Gran Alacant Promenade Arenal

Parking: is on the side of the road and is free

From here: walk along the promenade into Arenales del Sol where there are lots of shops, cafes and restauarants, or down onto the beach. 

Gran Alacant Tourist Train

Parking: is in the car park and is free

From here: this is one of the the 11 stops for the tourist train. It opperates during most of the year and is schedualled to leave here at 25 mins past the hour, tickets cost 2€ for one circuit. For more information about the route and timetable take a look at the official website.

Gran Alacant Viewpoint

Parking: is on the side of the road and is free.

From here: walk along the road to the turning circle and then follow any of the paths to the lighthouse. There are benches at both viewpoints eitherside of the lighthouse, but the best views of the Island of Tabarca are to be found at the viewpoint just past the lighthouse.

Top tip: parking is limited here, so you can park at the Centro Comercial and take the tourist train (charges apply). 

Gran Alacant Village Centre

Parking: is in the car park and is free.

From here: the small parade of shops and resturants is opposite, the library, townhall and childrens playground are beside the car park. 

Santa Pola Scenic Drive Northern Point

From here: this is the coordinate for the northern point in Gran Alacant of the coastal road which runs beside the sea underneath the cliffs from Santa Pola. 

Top tip: it gets very busy especially during high season, so is sometimes best avoided in the summer.

Santa Pola Scenic Drive Southern Point

From here: this is the coordinate for the southern point in Santa Pola of the coastal road which runs beside the sea underneath the cliffs from Gran Alacant.

Beaches

Parking: is on the road and is free, it gets very busy during the high season, so take any space you can find!

From here: there is a beach on either side of the Strip.

Top tip: there are over 15 beaches along the length of the Strip, so stop anywhere you see a sign for ‘playa’, the sea is a lot warmer on the Mar Menor side than the Mediterranean side of the Strip. 

Boat Trip

Parking: is in the marina and is free.

From here: at the roundabout just after the entrance arches turn right and park as close to the clubhouse at the end as you can, walk past the clubhouse and to the small jetty to catch the ferry.

Top tip: the B&F Ferry to Santiago de la Ribera departs from the little jetty. During the summer it runs seven days a week from morning until midnight, but has a restricted service out of season. There is normally a notice board with the current timetable beside the jetty. The trip will take about 40 minutes and costs 4€ each way, under 7 years are free, it is an extra 1€ for a bicycle. 

High Street

Parking: is on the road and is free, it gets very busy during the high season, so take any space you can find!

From here: this is the start of the Strip, so there are shops and eateries on both sides, take your pick!

Marina Tomas Maestre

Parking: is in the marina and is free.

From here: find a parking space and enjoy.

Top tip: there are two 'parades' of places to eat and drink. When at the roundabout just after the entrance arches turn right for modern parade of eateries with views of the marina, or turn left for a more ramshackle parade of restaurants with views to the Mar Menor. 

Promenades

Parking: is on the road and is free, it gets very busy during the high season, so take any space you can find!

From here: there are short promenades alongside most beaches on either side of the Strip. 

Tourist Office

Parking: is in the car park and is free.

From here: the office is beside the car park. 

Veneziola Golf

Parking: is in the car park and is free.

From here: the clubhouse and course are beside the car park.

Top tip: nine hole 'links style' pitch and putt course at the very end of the Strip, book your tee time in advance by calling +34 968 147 082.  

Villajoyosa Car Park 1

Parking: is in the gravelled car park and is free.

From here: walk out of the car park and turn right for the sandy beach, promenade and old town.

Villajoyosa Car Park 2

Parking: is in the underground car park and is charged for by length of stay.

From here: the car park is right beside the sandy beach, promenade and old town.

Top tip: the turning for the pay car park is between the petrol station and a small park with a fountain, the turning is signed Platja Centre. 

Villajoyosa Marina

Parking: is on the side of the road and is free.

From here: the marina is directly in front of the parking spaces, keep the sea on your left and walk along the promenade beside the sandy beach for the old town. 

Villajoyosa Tram Station

Parking: is on the side of the road anywhere you can find a space and is free.

From here: walk to the tram station and buy your ticket.

Villajoyosa Valor Chocolate Factory

Parking: is on the side of the road wherever there is space.

From here: the chocolate factory is right beside you enter for your tour of the museum.

Top tip: tours are free and run every half hour Monday-Friday 10.00-13.00 & 16.00-19.00 and on a Saturday 10.00-13.00. If you want to be sure of a specific time then call in advance and reserve your place +34 966 810 451. For more information take a look at the official Valor website.

The other chocolate factories are Clavileno and Perez.

Moraira Beach North End Platja del Portet

Parking: is on gravelled car park area and is free, it gets very busy here during the summer and parking spaces are very hard to find.

From here: walk down onto the sandy beach which has a short promenade and a selection of cafes and restaurants to choose from.

Top tip: the car park quickly becomes flooded when it is raining! 

Moraira Beach South End Platja de Platgetes

Parking: is in the car park or in any of the designated spaces along the main road and is free.

From here: the beach is in beside the car park, it is part sandy and part rocky and there are some restaurants and small shops behind.

Moraira Car Park

Parking: is in the large car park and is free, there are other car parking spaces in the roads around here which are marked with blue lines and are pay and display spaces.

From here: walk towards the sea and turn left for the rebuilt castle, restaurants, marina and shopping streets, turn right for the sandy beach and shaded promenade with seating area.

Top tip: the car park is closed on Fridays as it is the site of the market.  

Moraira Market Large Friday Morning

Parking: is in any of the streets around here, if there are blue lines then it is a pay and display parking space.

From here: the market is held on the car park, so follow the shopping trolleys! 

Moraira Scenic Drive to Calpe

Parking: this isn't a car park, but the coordinate for the start of the scenic drive to Calpe.

From here: follow the road along the CV746, stopping where you want at any of the viewpoints or beaches.

Top tip: the coordinate for the finish of the scenic drive in Calpe is N38^o38.560 E0^o04.089.

L'Alfas del Pi and Albir Beach

Parking: in the gravelled car park or in the spaces on the side of the road and is free.

From here: walk down to the sandy beach and promenade or follow the road uphill for shops and restaurants. 

L'Alfas del Pi and Albir Lighthouse Car Park

Parking: is in gravelled car park and is free.

From here: follow the old road and the signs along the cliff to the lighthouse.

Top tip: it is about a 5 kilometre walk, so make sure you are properly prepared.
 

Javea Beach Central Platja de L'Arenal

Parking: is in the car park or anywhere there is a space on either side of the road in the marked parking places and is free.

From here: the sandy beach, long promenade and a great selection of cafes, bars and restaurants.

Top tip: there is a small market here during the summer evenings.  

Javea Beach North End Platja de Benissero

Parking: is on the actual shingle beach wherever there is space and is free.

From here: the beach is in front of you, enjoy! 

Javea Beach South End Cala Blanca

Parking: is in the small car park which is a dead end, or in any of the spaces on either side of the road before the car park and is free.

From here: the rocky beach is beside the car park, there is also a lovely small promenade along the cliff face. 

Javea Marina

Parking: is on the side of the road or in the smal car park area beside the marina and is free.

From here: the marina and fishing port are right here, walk along the walls, take a look at the boats and relax in the cafes. 

Javea Market Large Thursday Morning

Parking: is in the underground pay car at the Plaza de la Constitucion.

From here: the market is held above the car park on the Plaza de la Constitucion and the surrounding streets.  

Javea Old Town

Parking: is in the underground pay car at the Plaza de la Constitucion.

From here: exit the car park and cross the road, turn left and walk along Calle Buen Aire into the historic quarter for the tourist office, town hall, museum, 14^th century church and quaint narrow streets. 

Javea Viewpoint Cap de la Nau

Parking: is in the car park area and is free.

From here: explore the headland and its viewpoints, lighthouse, marked walking paths and restaurants. 

Javea Viewpoint Cap de San Antoni

Parking: is in the gravelled car park and is free.

From here: explore the headland and its viewpoints, lighthouse and marked walking paths. 

Denia Beach North End Playa les Marines

Parking: is in the car park area and is free.

From here: walk down to the beach.

Top tip: there are lots of roads that lead down to the beach, all of which are signed 'Platja' so you can stop wherever you want. 

Denia Beach South End Playa de la Marineta Cassiana

Parking: is in the marked spaces on the side of the road and is free.

From here: cross the road to the beach. 

Denia Car Park 1

Parking: is in any of the spaces beside the road or in the large gravelled car park and is free.

From here: walk through the old town to the castle, museums and main shopping street, or cross the road to for the sandy beach. 

Denia Castle

Parking: this is the coordinate for the castle, parking is either in car park 1 or pay car park 2.

From here: follow the signs to the Centre Historic and the Castillo.

Top tip: the castle is open everyday except the 25^th December and the 1^st January. Times vary depending on the month, but are roughly 10.00-13.00 & 15.00-18.00 during the winter and 10.00-13.30 & 17.00-19.30 in the summer. Tickets are 3€ for adults and 1€ for children.

Denia Ferry Port

Parking: this is the coordinate for the ferry terminal, parking is on the road anywhere you can find a space or use car park 1.

From here: the ticket office is inside the ferry terminal or buy your ticket in advance from the travel agencies or online.

Top tip: for timetables take a look at the official website.  

Denia Fish Auction

Parking: this is the coordinate for the fish auction, parking is in car park 1 and is free.

From here: walk along the pier to the fish market known as the La Lonja.

Top tip: you can watch the fish auction from the gallery inside the hall, it is held Monday-Friday 17.00. 

Denia Marina

Parking: is either in the car park at the start of the marina, or if there are spaces beside the bars and restaurants in the marina.

From here: walk to the marina along the road or along the elevated marina wall.  

Denia Market Medium Monday Morning

Parking: is anywhere you can find a space in the roads close to the market site.

From here: follow the shopping trolleys to the market! 

Denia Montgo Natural Park

Parking: is in a small parking area on the side of the road and is free.

From here: enter the park beside the information board and follow any of the marked trails.

Top tip: the approach to the park is via a residential zone, there is also a lovely little chapel with a garden containing the stations of the cross near the entrance to the park at N38^o49.145 E0^o06.445.

Denia Pay Car Park 2

Parking: is in the pay car park beside the tourist office, make sure you display your ticket in your car.

From here: the tourist office is opposite the car park.

Top tip: this is a pay and display car park with a maximum stay duration of 127 minutes.

Denia Running of the Bulls Pub

Parking: his is the coordinate for the pub, parking is either in car park 1 or pay car park 2.

From here: the pub which is completely dedicated to everything to do with bullfighting and the running of the bulls is right beside you. 

Denia Torre del Gerro Viewpoint

Parking: small car park at dead end, alternatively park near the restaurant and walk the 150 meters to the viewpoint.

From here: access the steep path up to the tower by walking up the road called Via Lactea and then follow the markers. 

Denia Tram Station

Parking: is anywhere you can find a space in the streets around the tram station and is free. Do not park in the pay and display car park opposite the station as it has a maximum stay duration of 127 minutes.

From here: enter the tram station and buy your ticket from the ticket office or ticket machine.

Calpe Beach North End Playa Levante

Parking: is in any of the marked spaces on the side of the road and is free.

From here: walk onto the long sandy beach and it's promenade.

Calpe Beach South End Playa L'Arenal-Bol

Parking: is in any of the designated car parks and is charged for by length of stay, this is the coordinate for the Plaza Colon parking.

From here: the beach and promenade is right beside the car park.

Top tip: to avoid paying for car parking and driving through the busy streets of Calpe Town park beside the Salinas and walk. 

Calpe Marina

Parking: is in any of the marked space on the side of the road and is free.

From here: explore the marina and walk down onto the small rocky beach.

Calpe Market Large Saturday Morning

Parking: is on the side of the road and is free.

From here: walk towards the main road and use the bridge to cross it, the markets starts here! 

Calpe Paraje Natural Las Salinas

Parking: is in any of the spaces on the side of the road and is free.

From here: you are right beside the salinas natural park, so stop and admire the pink flamingos!

Top tip: the tourist office is on the opposite side of the road if you want some more information. 

Calpe Parque Natural del Penon de Ifach

Parking: is on gravelled car park area and is free.

From here: the entrance to the natural park is right beside the car park, enter and follow the marked walking trail around the park, through the tunnel in the rock and onto the seaward side of the Penon de Ifach for some amazing views! 

Calpe Scenic Driving Route

Parking: this isn't a car park, but the coordinate for the start of the scenic drive to Moraira.

From here: follow the road along the CV746, stopping where you want at any of the viewpoints or beaches.

Top tip: the coordinate for the finish of the scenic drive in Moraira is N38^o40.875 E0^o07.095. 

Calpe Town Centre

Parking: is in the underground car park Sol y Mar and is charged for by length of stay, there are lots of other small pay car parks, so you can park in any of these.

From here: explore the town centre or walk down onto the south end beach.

Top tip: to avoid paying for car parking and driving through the busy streets of Calpe Town park beside the Salinas and walk.  

Benissa Beach Cala de la Fustera

Parking: is in the car park area and is free

From here: walk down onto the small beach.

Top tip: the marked coastal path is a specially designed eco trail. There are two walks from here, both of which start from the tourist office on the beach and take about one and a half hours. Click here to download the pdf for more information. 

Benissa Car Park 1

Parking: is on unpaved parking area and is free.

From here: exit the car park and turn left, walk downhill and follow the road as it bends to the left past the town hall (ajuntament), enter the historic centre and explore.  

Benissa Market Medium Saturday Morning

Parking: the coordinate is for the market, for parking use car park 1 as the market is held on car park 2!

From here: exit the car park and turn left, walk downhill and follow the road as it bends to the left past the town hall (ajuntament), enter the historic centre and continue straight ahead to the church following all the shopping trolleys! 

Benissa Pay Car Park 2

Parking: is in the car park and is charged for by length of stay.

From here: the car park is right in the heart of the historic quarter.
