Sales & Tapas in Lo Pagan

Lo Pagan La Mar de Rebajas y La Mar de Sabores 2012

The town of Lo Pagan on the shores of the Mar Menor is well worth visiting during the first two weekend in February. On the 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th February 2012 they have organised two events; one called 'La Mar de Rebajas or 'The Sales of the Sea' and the other called 'La Mar de Sabores' or 'The Tastes of the Sea'.

A marquee will be erected on the Esplanade in Lo Pagan for the sales. A total of 25 shops will be offering their goods including clothes, shoes, accessories, toys, food, marine and electronics items at hugely discounted prices of up to 70%!!

A total of 11 restaurants will be participating in the tapas route. A map of their location as well as the all important tapas passport can be collected from the marquee.

The tapas passport has an unique twist and a massive prize! You must either collect stamps from 10 of the participating establishments on the tapas route, or receipts from any 2 of the 25 shops in the discount outlet fair. Once you've completed the challenge, just hand the passport back to the Association of Lo Pagan stand in the marquee. You'll then be entered into a prize draw for 500€ which must be spent at any of the shops or restaurants involved in the event.
.
The fair will be open on both Saturdays the 4th and 11th from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00, and on both Sundays the 5th and 12th from 10:00 to 20:00 with no siesta.

Lo Pagan is a great place to visit. Take a look at our Lo Pagan Travel Guide to find out all about what you can see and do there. Although it is too cold at the moment to use the free mud baths, you can enjoy a walk either along the promenade, soak up the sun on the beach, visit the small marina or take a cycle along the Salinas walking and cycling route.
