Copa del Sol 2012 la Manga & Benidorm

The 3rd edition of the Copa del Sol starts on the 28th January and the final will be held on the 7th February 2012. The competition is played at the La Manga Club in the province of Murcia, and at the Estadio Municipal Guillermo Amor in Benidorm, although the final will be contested at the home ground of Segunda B team Cartagena.

The Copa del Sol involves 12 prominent teams from 6 nations as they prepare for their league openings as well as Europes UEFA Champions League. The format is 2 groups with 6 teams in each, 3 matches per team with the winners from each group playing a 4th match – the final!
