Altea Fiesta in honour of Cristo de la Salud

The Fiesta in honour of Cristo de la Salud, also known as Crist de la Salut in Valenciano, will be held in Altea la Vella from the 3rd to the 6th February 2012. The celebration is the first fiesta of the year in Altea and involves numerous activities including religious processions.

Friday 3rd February
17:00 'Entra de la Murta' accompanied by the band Joved'Altea

Saturday 4th February
10:00 Competition morning including the 1st competition of All I Oli
14:00 Giant Paella in the restaurant El Chiringuito
16:00 Competition afternoon including Pilota al Carrer and Cau y Truc

Sunday 5th February
12:00 Mass in honour of Santísimo Cristo de la Salud from the Plaza de Caixaltea to the Iglesia Parroquial
14:00 Giant rockets
20:00 Procession of Santísimo Cristo de la Salud from Iglesia Parroquial to the Plaza de Caixaltea followed by a firework display

Monday 6th February
12:00 Mass in honour of Santísimo Cristo de la Salud from the Plaza de Caixaltea to the Iglesia Parroquial
14:00 Giant rockets
17:00 Special preformance for the children in the Carpa de Fiestas
22:30 Concert by the band Jove d'Altea
