5th Tapas Route in Cartagena

The Tapas Route will once again be held in the city of Cartagena from the 24th February until the 11th March. During these dates a total of 67 establishments will be offering a tapa and a drink for just 2.50€. This will be the 5th time that city has organised the Tapas Route and this year it is sponsored by Coronita Beer.

Take a look at the official website for all of the information. There is a map of the location of the bars, cafes and restauarnts, a list of the establishments with a photo of their tapas, as well the competition rules.

In order to be in with a chance to win a prize you must have a stamp from six different establishments on your Tapas Voting Card. Then you just need to mark the Tapas which you enjoyed the most and deposit the Voting Card at any of the polling stations. You'll automatically receive a ticket entitling you to free entry into one of the “Cartagena Puerto de Culturas” visitor attractions , “Teatro Romano”, “Arqua” or “Museo Arqueológico Municipal de Cartagena”.

You can follow the route, design your own agenda and download it from the website as well as sending your opinions and comments.

  • Route maps can be obtained (while stocks last) in all the establishments participating, or at the following places, which are also designated voting stations until 14.00 on Tuesday 13th March.
  • Offices of the Cámara Oficial de Comercio, Industria y Navegación de Cartagena, on the Alfonso XII dock, Monday to Thursday from 8am to 2pm and 4.30pm to 7pm, Friday from 8am to 2pm.
  • Hostecar, Plaza de España, 12 - 2º, from 9am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Offices of Cartagena Puerto de Culturas, in Calle Gisbert, 10, (next to the panoramic lift) from 10.00 to 17.30, Tuesday to Sunday.
  • Tourist information offices of Cartagena Council, in the Palacio Consistorial in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Monday to Friday, from 10am to 2pm and 4pm to 6pm, Saturday from 10am to 1.30pm, Sundays and public holidays from 10.30am to  1.30pm and in the Tourist information point in the Muralla Púnica, from Tuesdays to Sundays from 10am to 5.30pm
